i want to paint with nothing but streetlights, And listen to the road tell me about how it's so in love with the rain, Simply because they just look so good next to each other. i want to ask the clouds how they're doing, And write love notes to guys i saw at concerts, Because i will never know them long enough for it to reach their unforgiving fingertips. i want to be able to laugh at life's inside jokes, And learn how to crash like waves, hips, hearts, and cars, Because i'm sick of who i've become. i want to fall in love like a star, And burn out like a million year old sun, Just so i can say i have the kind of wisdom that comes w
